The impact of your support
Delivering effective land management
AWC implements practical and innovative conservation land management programs to reduce threats and restore healthy landscapes across the continent.
Core activities include managing mainland Australia’s largest network of feral cat and fox-free safe havens, controlling feral herbivores and weeds, undertaking feral predator control ‘beyond the fence’ and delivering ecologically appropriate fire management with benefits for biodiversity.
Restoring species
AWC’s ambitious reintroduction program is restoring populations of threatened and locally extinct mammals in areas where they once thrived.
This groundbreaking program spans 10 locations and has seen populations of more than 20 mammal species founded across the country. More than half of these species have been reintroduced to more than one sanctuary or partnership area, helping to safeguard these precious animals from extinction.
Monitoring ecosystems in our care
AWC conducts an extensive program of ecological health monitoring and scientific research to inform conservation action across our network of sanctuaries and partnership areas.
Monitoring is crucial to deepen our understanding of threatening processes, investigate the ecology of threatened species and measure the effectiveness of management actions to maximise ecological return on investment.

For recurring monthly donations you will receive a receipt for your first payment immediately, you will then receive a consolidated statement for all other payments within 45 days of the conclusion of the financial year.
