AWC is implementing a science-based model for conservation that delivers high-impact results. We are successfully halting the decline of threatened wildlife and restoring species across our network of sanctuaries and partnership areas. Our Ecohealth reports outline the high ecological return on investment we are achieving across Australia.

Your support is delivering effective conservation land management, restoring threatened and locally extinct species and enabling monitoring of the ecosystems in our care.

What the Wildlife Guardian community is saying

Foxes arrived in WA in 1929, the year of my birth. They have since exterminated all the once prevalent ground dwelling birds such as Stone Curlew and Plover. I first learned of the AWC, Avon Valley reserve when I returned to WA in the 1990s. I have been a permanent supporter of AWC for about 25 years and have been rewarded by the extension of absolute species protection reserves across all of Australia.

I have a deep connection with AWC’s purpose and goals, so a monthly gift is an easy way for me to regularly contribute to the important work that AWC is doing to protect and preserve Australia’s unique landscapes, flora and fauna. It also keeps me in touch with AWC so I can learn more about what the organisation is accomplishing. I then feel more connected to the purpose which is very special to me. Making a monthly gift is a very easy process. By making a regular gift, I feel like part of the team, on a mission of great importance.

I grew up on a grazing property that my great-great-grandfather had settled in 1833, so we had an oral record of what species had become extinct on that land. The district is inhabited by conservative graziers who have no interest in conservation, so I had our property declared a wildlife refuge. I do get pleasure from contributing monthly and enjoy the magazines.
